We had been waiting on our visas to arrive, they should have been ready for October 15th. The paperwork is very complicated because it’s mostly in Chinese! Today we were certain our visas would arrive on the 5th so we booked everything from flights to car rental and hotel. SURPRISE…we get an email stating the visas will arrive tomorrow. The school wants us to leave for China on Sunday. This means we have to rebook everything and we have to be in California on Friday. Stress starts to set in as I thought I still had more time even though I had been packing and cleaning since quitting my job.
